TaylorMade Spider ZT Max Counterbalance Putter

The TaylorMade Spider ZT Max Counterbalance Putter combines the oversized stability of the Spider ZT Max platform with a counterbalanced build designed to create a smoother, more repeatable putting stroke. By moving more weight toward the grip end of the club, TaylorMade is able to reduce unwanted hand tension while pairing the design with a heavier 398-gram head for exceptional stability through impact.

Spider ZT Max uses four heavy steel and tungsten corner weights around a low-density aerospace-grade aluminum body to push more mass to the perimeter and increase MOI. The larger head profile is engineered to resist twisting on off-center strikes while maintaining a stable, confidence-inspiring look at address.

Counterbalance Performance

An elongated SuperStroke grip and increased overall club length raise the balance point toward the hands. Combined with the heavier head and 155-gram KBS Custom Graphite shaft, the counterbalanced setup promotes a controlled tempo and an ultrastable feel throughout the stroke.

Toe-Up Stability

The KBS Custom Graphite shaft enters the head toe-ward near the center of gravity with 2° of shaft lean and 34mm of onset behind the face. This geometry creates TaylorMade's toe-up orientation and is designed to help the putter remain stable and square throughout the stroke.

Pure Roll™ Feel and Forward Roll

The black Pure Roll™ insert blends Surlyn and aluminum for a softer feel and controlled sound. Grooves positioned at 45° are designed to encourage forward roll immediately after impact for more consistent speed and distance control.

Milled True Path™ Alignment

TaylorMade's Milled True Path™ alignment system uses precision-milled lines sized to the width of a golf ball, giving golfers a clear reference for centering the ball on the face and setting the putter square to the intended line.
